DISA releases STIG Viewer 3.4 and User GuideĀ
The Defense Information Systems Agency recently released the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Viewer 3.4 and the STIG Viewer User Guide.
NOTE: In the July 2024 Quarterly Maintenance Release, DISA updated more than 100 STIGs to include Control Correlation Identifiers in National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53 Revision 5. This update changed the Revision IDs for each rule in these STIGs. If you are importing checklist data from an earlier version of a STIG into a checklist created from the new version, you may receive a message in STIG Viewer 3.4 about mismatched Revision IDs. To successfully import your checklist data, select āInclude loosely matched resultsā when prompted.
